Dale Marie (Robinson) Reedy

Ms. Dale Marie Robinson Reedy, 76 of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan while visiting her daughter, April, during the holidays.

Born in Waycross, GA on December 8, 1944, she had lived in many states as well as Germany before moving back to the Blackshear/Waycross area in 2000.  She had worked for Stewart Candy for a few years and enjoyed sewing and gardening.  She dearly loved her grandchildren and was known as “Mema” by many. Ms. Reedy has touched the lives of so many with her unconditional love, generosity, and kindness.  She will be forever missed.

She was a daughter of the late Wilbur Mathew & Grace Craven Robinson.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ann Jackson; and three brothers, Jerry L. Robinson, Julius Malcolm Robinson, and Wilbur M. “Robby” Robinson, Jr.

Survivors include her three children, James Stevens (wife Victoria) of Irvine, KY, Teresa Courson (husband Charley) of Blackshear, and April Cipriano (husband Frank) of Chesterfield, MI; 8 grandchildren, Jessica Stevens, Darvik Stevens, Danika Stevens, Taylor Bagley (wife Kalley), Travis Courson, Matthew Wiggins, Mark Wiggins (wife Shelby), and Maranda Guy (husband Nathan); 4 great grandchildren, Tray Dixon, Daisy Wiggins, Lily Wiggins, and Emma Guy; two brothers, Howard Robinson and Glynn Robinson (wife Dee); and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  

Graveside services for Ms. Reedy will be held Friday afternoon, January 15, 2021, at 3:00 o’clock at the High Bluff Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines and the wearing of facemasks are mandatory.
