Cynthia "Cindy" Elaine (Watkins) Muhlhan

Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Elaine Watkins Muhlhan, 68, of Midway, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 11, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Jacksonville, FL on April 21, 1955, she had lived in Midway for the past 23 years.  Mrs. Muhlhan was a homemaker.  She loved the beach, boating, camping, and crocheting.  She also loved to spend time with her family and friends but especially loved her quiet time spent with God.   

She was a daughter of the late William Carey & Dorothy Cornelia Hodges Watkins, Sr.  She was also preceded in death by all of her siblings.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Kent D. Muhlhan of Midway; four daughters, Kelly Muhlhan of Midway, Katie (Ryne) Barker of Pooler, Megan (James) Deemer of Midway, and Holly (Justin) Flowers of Savannah; 5 grandchildren, Sophia Johnson, Sawyer Deemer, Aurora Flowers, Tanner Barker, and Reese Barker; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Muhlhan will be held Sunday afternoon, July 16, 2023, at 2:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.

Interment will be in the Blackshear Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel one hour prior to the service.
