Connie Lynn (Smith) Allday

Mrs. Connie Lynn Smith Allday, 62, of Blackshear, passed away Friday evening, November 18, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Blackshear, GA on November 8, 1960, she had lived in Pierce County all of her life. Mrs. Connie worked in the school cafeteria for many years and loved nothing more than serving her kids and giving them a big hug until Covid changed that. She enjoyed game nights with her family where she usually came out on top and going to the beach, especially her Bahamas trip. Mrs. Connie was a devoted member of the Blackshear Church of God.

She was a daughter of the late Frank Hendry and Sarah Kathleen Owens Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Frankie Allday of Blackshear; two daughters, Adrienne (Luis) Ruiz of Blackshear and Caitlyn (Jamelle) Graham of Waycross; two sisters, Mary Beverly and Bonnie (Lamar) Roberson both of Blackshear; two brothers, Wayne (Linda) Smith and Irving (Marie) Smith both of Blackshear; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Connie will be held Tuesday afternoon, November 22, 2022, at 3 o’clock from the Blackshear Church of God.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Honorary pallbearers will be the lunchroom personnel from Blackshear Elementary. Please meet at the church by 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.
