Clarence Vernon Westberry, Jr.

Mr.  Clarence Vernon Westberry, Jr., 80 of Patterson, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his residence. 

Born in Patterson, GA on July 7, 1940, he had lived in Pierce County all of his life.  Mr. Westberry was a retired farm tractor mechanic.  He started out working for the late Coleman Harrison but had also worked for Reid, Inc. and the Hyers Company.  Over the years he attended all of the churches his late father, Rev. Vernon Westberry, preached at.

He was a son of the late Rev. Clarence Vernon & Gladys Bennett Westberry, Sr.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Curtis Vernon Westberry; and two brothers, George Westberry and Josh Westberry.

Survivors include his son, David Westberry of Patterson; his sister, Mary Alice Cason of Baxley, a brother, Phillip Westberry of Patterson; 5 grandchildren, Dasha (RJ) Deen, Kailey (Tyler) Pierce, Libby Youmans, Shane Youmans, and Abby Westberry; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will have a memorial service for Mr. Westberry at a later date.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
