Christine "Christy" Elaine (Caylor) Griner

Mrs. Christine Elaine “Christy” Caylor Griner, 61, of Waycross, passed away Tuesday evening, April 1, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Tipton, IN on April 30, 1963, she lived mostly in Pierce County before moving to Ware County.  Christy had worked as a cashier for Circle K convenience stores for several years.  She enjoyed shopping and traveling and especially enjoyed being with her family.

She was a daughter of the late Joseph Dennis & Dorothy Mae Mendehall Caylor.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Lynn Griner, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Melissa.

Survivors include her husband, Terry L. Griner of Waycross; three daughters, Crystal Caylor (Michael Barrentine), Shannon (Niki) Wilson, and Sharee (Robbie) Rozier all of Waycross; two sisters, Brenda Caylor of Orlando and Barbra Caylor of Illinois; a brother, Benji of Augusta; 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Kristen, Austin, Joshua, Justin, Katlyn, Samantha, and Desmond; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Honoring Christy’s wishes, there will be no service.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
