Ms. Carla Dianne Carter, 79 of Pierce County, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Covington, KY on July 30, 1942, she had lived in Pierce County for many years. Ms. Carter had worked as a secretary the majority of her life.

She was the daughter of the late Elmer & Mary Alexander Carter. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Rose; and an infant brother, David Carter.

Survivors include her daughter, Carlaowen (Rhon) Dias of Sevierville, TN; her son, James Jeffrey (Reba) Rose of Highlands Ranch, CO; a step-daughter, Becky Griffin of Alma; two step-sons, Jeff (Tonia) Carter of Middleburg, FL and Cleve (Missy) Carter of Orange Park, FL; three brothers, Daryl (Carolyn) Carter and Dan Carter all of Florida and Dennis (Karen) Carter of North Dakota; 2 grandchildren, Joshua Rose and Jacob Rose; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorialization was by cremation.
