Carl Ruedolf Thrift

Mr. Carl Ruedolf Thrift, 62, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House.

Born in Miami, FL on September 10, 1960, he had lived in Pierce County since the late ‘90’s.  He was a beloved son and uncle who had a heart of gold.  He will be dearly missed.

He was the son of the late Carl Ruedolf & Mable Sands Thrift, Sr.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Prudhomme; a brother-in-law, James Prudhomme; and by a nephew, James Prudhomme.

Survivors include his niece, Denise Prudhomme of Blackshear; and great nephews, Joshua Bishop of Ft. Myers, FL, Derek Bishop of Tampa, FL, and Devin Bishop of Ft. Myers; and several other relatives.

Memorialization is by cremation.
