Brandon Lee Green

Mr. Brandon Lee Green, 23 of Blackshear, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020, following a courageous battle with depression and anxiety that he ultimately lost.

Born in Waycross, GA on November 12, 1996, he had lived in Blackshear his whole life. Brandon was a computer whiz and loved going to the river. He dearly loved his mom and she is holding tight to the memories of her beautiful, wonderful son who was a beacon of light to her. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joy Elaine Green, and by an uncle, Brooks Ronald “BR” Green.

Survivors include his mother and father, BaLinda Green of Blackshear and Bill Godwin of Patterson; his maternal grandfather, Brooks Green of Blackshear; and several cousins and numerous friends he had made on the internet.

Due to COVID-19, the family will have a celebration of life service for Brandon at a later date.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Memorials may be made in Brandon’s memory to a mental health or traumatic brain injury organization of the giver's choosing.
