Bobby Wayne Courson

Mr. Bobby Wayne Courson, 69 of Blackshear, passed away Friday evening, July 23, 2021, at his residence.
 
Born in Blackshear, GA on November 23rd, 1951, he had lived in Pierce County all his life.  Mr. Courson was a 1969 graduate of Blackshear High School. Following his high school graduation, he went on to serve in the United States Army. Mr. Courson enjoyed fishing and golfing in his free time. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mr. Courson was of the Baptist Faith.
 
He was a son of the late Harold & Carolyn Luke Courson. 
 
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Allen Courson of Blackshear; three sons and daughters-in-laws Wade & Ashley Courson of Blackshear, Jay & Becky McBee of Waycross, and Russell & Chasti McBee of Alma. One brother, James Courson of Blackshear; 8 grandchildren, Tyler (Mallory) McBee, Taten (Fiancé Amelia Hiott) McBee , Jonathan Bullard, Brittany Bullard, Delilah Rose Courson, Wade Alexander Courson, Haleigh McBee, and Emalee McBee; 1 great grandchild, Braxton McBee; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
  
Funeral services for Mr. Courson will be held Tuesday morning, July 27th, 2021, at 11:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
 
Interment will be in the Springhill Cemetery in Brantley County.
 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday Evening July 26th, 2021 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
