Beatrice Sarah (Hodge) Milner

Mrs. Beatrice Sarah Hodge Milner, 94, of Riverview, FL, passed away early Friday morning, September 19, 2025, at LifePath Hospice Sun City Center Hospice House in Ruskin, FL.

Born in Blackshear, GA on December 3, 1930, she had lived in Fernandina Beach, FL before moving to Riverview, FL three years ago.  Mrs. Milner was a self-employed hairdresser who enjoyed keeping the ladies up with the latest hairstyles.  In her spare time, she was an avid gardener.  She enjoyed going to church, but most importantly, she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.  She was a member of Living Waters Church in Fernandina Beach.

She was a daughter of the late Lawton and Laura Walker Hodge.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Coggins; both of her sisters, Naomi Peacock and Louvenia Hodge; and four brothers, James Hodge, Cecil Hodge, Jack Hodge, and Jerome Hodge.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Milner of Riverview, FL; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Holly Morgan of Valrico, FL; a brother & sister-in-law, Rommie & Dot Hodge of Cantonment, FL; 3 grandchildren, Shev (Wendy) Ashmore, Travis (Kelly) Morgan, and Aly Morgan; 3 great-grandchildren, Lockland Ashmore, Everett Morgan, and Anderson Morgan; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Saturday morning, October 4, 2025, at 11 o'clock at the Blackshear City Cemetery.

Interment will be in the Blackshear City Cemetery.
