Ms. Amanda “Mandy” Lee Day, 37 of Waycross, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Blackshear, GA on November 5, 1984, she had lived in Pierce and Ware Counties all her life. In her younger years Mandy loved to cheer and loved to dance as a clogger. She was a very social person and loved to talk and socialize with anyone that she could. She was formerly a nail tech and enjoyed doing nails and hair. She had a passion for painting furniture and enjoyed listening to music. Mandy loved the beach and would be in Fernandina Beach, Florida every chance she got. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bryan Day; her maternal grandparents, Nolan Luther “Junior” & Judy Head Williamson; her paternal grandfather, James Robert Day; and an uncle, Tony Day.
Survivors include her two children, Brynlee Smith of Waycross, and Bryson Lane of Jesup; her mother, Cindy Williamson of Waycross; a sister, Logan Day of Nahunta; 4 brothers, Chase Day of Blackshear, Craig (Addie) Head, Zac Dominy and Nolan Dominy all of Waycross; her paternal grandmother, Lucy Ann Day of Waycross; 2 special aunts and uncles, Jennifer (Ritchie) Strickland of Waycross and Buddy (Kellie) Williamson of Blackshear; numerous nieces and nephews; and several other relatives.
Visitation for Mandy will be held Monday, March 21, 2022, 6-8pm at Pearson-Dial Funeral Home.
Memorialization is by cremation.
