Ms. Amanda Victoria “Mandie” Aldridge, 35, of Blackshear, passed away Thursday evening, November 28, 2024, at her residence in Blackshear.
Born in Jacksonville, FL on December 3, 1988, she lived in Pierce County most of her life. A graduate of Pierce County High School, she was an avid football fan of the University of Georgia Bulldogs. She loved to read books when she had free time as well as spending time at the beach. Family time was very special to her, and she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Danny Aldridge, Sr. and Arnold Douberly as well as an aunt, Lynn Deverger.
Survivors include her parents, Danny and Darlene Aldridge, Jr. of Blackshear; a sister, Lindsay (Marshall) Garren, of Seymour, TN; two brothers, Brad (Katie) Aldridge of Statesboro, and Dr. Brandon Aldridge (Chloe Phillips) of Vero Beach, FL; grandmothers, Patsy Aldridge and Eunice Eason, both of Blackshear; aunts and uncles, David (Freida) Douberly, Sam Douberly, Angie (Timmy) Sapp, and Tammy (Daryle) Stokes, all of Blackshear; niece and nephews, Lainey Aldridge, Hayden Aldridge, Braydon Aldridge, Kolten Aldridge, and Ivy Jane Garren; special friends, Cheryl Walling of Statesboro, and Sherri Robson and Josh Pinkerton, both of Blackshear; her canine family, Luna and Sadie; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Ms. Aldridge will be held Monday afternoon, December 2, 2024, at 2:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Stone officiating.
Visitation for Ms. Aldridge will be held at the funeral home chapel one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Alabaha Cemetery.
