Alvin Tommy "T.J." Woodard, Jr.

Mr. Alvin Tommy “T.J.” Woodard, Jr., 34 of Blackshear, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 in Brantley County.
 
Born in Polk County, FL on September 29, 1985, he had lived in Pierce County all of his life.  T. J. was a lineman for Sumter Utilities and attended Deenwood Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing video games and loved spending time with his kids.  He will always be remembered as being a loving son and brother.
 
Survivors include his wife, Keelie Allen Woodard of Enigma; a daughter, Taylor Garren of Blackshear; three sons, JJ Woodard, Christopher Woodard, and Tristan Woodard all of Blackshear; three honorary daughters, Tierney McMillan and Tiara McMillan both of Blackshear and Ariel Cooper of Alma; his mother and step-father, Connie & Linton Taylor of Blackshear; his father, Alvin Woodard, Sr. of Blackshear; his sister and brother-in-law, Stacy & Brian Smith of Waycross; two brothers, Paul Woodard of Waycross and Early Taylor of Blackshear; several nieces and nephews including five who were very close to him, Dakota Woodard, Zach Woodard, D. J. Lankford, Riley Smith, and Makayla Rogers; and several other relatives and friends.
 
A memorial service for T.J. will be held Wednesday afternoon, November 27, 2019, at 2:00 from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
