Mr. Aaron Connor Davis, 19, of Blackshear, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 26, 2025, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House.
Born in Waycross, GA on July 12, 2005, Conner lived in Pierce County all his life. Connor was a 2023 graduate of Pierce County High School. Diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at a young age, Connor did not let the disease define him. He was fiercely independent and was an extremely talented artist having won awards at the Heritage Center Art Show in Waycross as well at the Eagle Station Art Show in Patterson. When he wasn’t focusing on his artwork, you could find him playing on his Play Station with his brother, Kyle, for which he was a very serious “gamer”. Connor also loved to watch Anime shows, going to Jekyll and St. Simons Islands, and swimming. He attended New Life Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ava Mathis; his maternal great grandfather, Mackie Turner; his aunt, Christina Turner; and two cousins, Brixton Beau Ogden and Kimberly Warren Guess.
Survivors include his parents, William Freddie “Bill” Davis, Jr. and April Michelle Carter both of Blackshear; his maternal grandmother and caretaker, Linda Turner Carter of Blackshear; his maternal grandfather, Roger Carter of Hoboken; his brother, Kyle Davis of Blackshear; his maternal great grandmother, Janice Turner of Blackshear; his aunts, Melinda (Jason) Long of Hoboken, and Scarlett (Bud) Walker of Bristol; his uncle, Roger Lee Carter of Blackshear; cousins, Alissa Carter, Caleb Alexander, Trent Roberson, Dennis Duncan, Dakota Davis, and Alex McGhin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Connor will be held Monday afternoon, March 31, 2025, at 3:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
