Wilton Lamar Dixon, Sr.

Mr. Wilton Lamar Dixon, Sr., 82, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019,  in Jesup.

Born October 14, 1936, he had lived all his life in Blackshear, where he was a farmer.  He enjoyed going to auctions and collecting farm toys and tractors. He was a member of the St. Johns Methodist church. Wilton loved Georgia football.

He was the son of the late John A. and Amanda Cleveland Dixon. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Lois Kicklighter; and a brother, James Dixon.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Maloch Dixon of Blackshear; his daughter and son-in-law, Mandy (Kevin) Walasinski of Brunswick, his son, Lamar Dixon of Blackshear; a brother, Virgil (Linda) Dixon of Blackshear; a special canine friend, "Little Man";  and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00 o'clock from the St. Johns Cemetery.

Memorialization is by cremation.
