Nancy Lavoie Obituary

Mrs. Nancy Ann Richard Lavoie, 71 of Blackshear, passed away early Friday morning, July 19, 2019 at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House.

Born in Taunton, MA on September 16, 1947, she had lived in Florida for many years prior to moving to Pierce County a year ago.  Mrs. Lavoie worked at different things over the years some of which were, CNA, waitress, owning her own cleaning business, working at Walt Disney World, and lastly as a pool monitor.  She was of the Catholic faith and will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was a daughter of the late William & Lillian Frankur Richard.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Lavoie; and five of her brothers, Paul, Kenny, Eddie, Ronnie, and Billy.

Survivors include her four daughters, Lori Ann Lavoie of Blackshear, Lynn Marie Grego of Diamond Head, MS, Christine Forrest of Blackshear, and Lillian Marie Lavoie of Blackshear; two sons, David Lavoie of Ocoee, FL and Charles M. Lavoie of Warren, MI; two sisters, Joan Drury of Winter Springs, FL and Barbara Decosta of Fall River, MA; two brothers, Bobby Richard of North Carolina and Ray Richard of Massachusetts; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will have a celebration of life service at a later time.

Memorialization is by cremation.
