Mr. Lloyd Scott “Scotty” Peace, 49 of Patterson, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 25, 2019, at Memorial Satilla Health following a sudden illness.
Born in Hollywood, FL on June 20, 1970, he had lived in Pierce County since 1973. Scotty was a 1988 graduate of Pierce County High School and a 1990 graduate of Okefenokee Technical College where he received his degree in Electronics. He was a member of Offerman Baptist Church and was a die-hard Georgia Bulldog fan who loved rock music and lived for the weekends so he could grill out and be with his friends. Scotty dearly loved his family and friends and was just an all-around good guy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edsel Adrian Peace.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Connie Bagley Peace of Patterson; his daughter, Lindsie Peace of Patterson; his son, Trevor Peace (fiance’, Molly Strickland) of Blackshear; his mother, Fann Pitts Peace of Patterson; his aunt who was more like his sister, Tracee (Michael) Smith of Patterson; aunts and uncles, Jan & Gene Chesser of Callahan, FL and Erald & Kim Pitts of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Scotty will be held Friday morning, December 27, 2019, at 10 o’clock from the Offerman Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the Offerman Cemetery.
Visitation for Scotty will be held Thursday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
