James Brady "Boe" Broadhead

Mr. James Brady “Boe” Broadhead, 76 of Blackshear, passed away late Tuesday afternoon, December 24, 2019, at his residence.
 
Born in Brent, AL on July 29, 1943, he had lived in Florida for many years prior to moving to Pierce County in 1989.  Mr. Broadhead retired from Fisher Tank Company where he had worked as a boilermaker.  All of his work life he had traveled so when he retired he enjoyed staying at home.  He loved golfing and fishing and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.  Mr. Broadhead’s wife, Frances Minnis Broadhead, passed away on September 20th of this year.  All during her sickness he never left her side.  He will be dearly missed by his children and their families.
 
He was a son of the late William “Bill” & Ruby Ragland Broadhead.  In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by all of his sisters and brothers.
   
Survivors include his three sons, James Lee Broadhead of Rougemont, NC, Greg (Carla) Broadhead of Wauchula, FL, and Randall (Holly) Broadhead of Blackshear; 7 grandchildren, Jamie Broadhead, Dillon Broadhead, Jessica Broadhead, Malachi Broadhead, Rhythm Broadhead, Josh (Krysta) Gonzales, and Elizabeth Miller; 6 great grandchildren, Maverick Broadhead, Kylee Miller, Presley Williams, Wesley Williams, Josh Gonzales, and Easton Gonzales; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
       
Funeral services for Mr. Broadhead will be held Sunday afternoon, December 29, 2019, at 1 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
 
Interment will be in the Blackshear Cemetery.
 
Visitation for Mr. Broadhead will be held Saturday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
