Donald Devereaux, Jr. Obituary
Mr. Donalld Edward Devereaux, Jr., 63 of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Baxley, GA on July 31, 1956, he had lived in Pierce County most of his life. Mr. Devereaux had been a mechanic for the former Bowen Dairy before becoming disabled. He loved to fish and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was the son of the late Donald Edward Devereaux, Sr. & Juanita Mae Copeland Courson.
Survivors include his son, Donald Edward “Tater” Devereaux, III of Texas; two uncles, Johnnie Copeland and Jerry Copeland both of Baxley; his God daughter, Annie Perritt of Blackshear; special friends, Karen McCarthy, Timmy Lucas, Judy Lucas, and Troy Lucas all of Waycross and Randy Reddish and Terry Lucas both of Blackshear; and several other relatives.
Burial will be at the Red Oak Cemetery in Baxley at a later date.
Memorialization is by cremation.
