Dawn Macaluso Obituary

Ms. Dawn Elizabeth Hardenbrook Macaluso, 54 of Waycross, passed away early Sunday morning, July 28, 2019 at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House.

Born in Chicago, IL on October 11, 1964, she had lived in Illinois for several years before moving to Pierce County 12 years ago. Ms. Macaluso had worked as a CNA for a few years before her health began to fail. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was a daughter of the late Rayford Lee & Sarrah Jerell Dixon Hardenbrook.

Survivors include her two sons, Jimmy & Erin Synowiecki of Dwight, IL and Chad “C.J.” & Bree Macaluso of Coal City, IL; a sister, Diane & Neil Ormand of Burbank, IL; a brother, Tony (Hulene) Hardenbrook of Waycross; 2 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
