Pearson-Dial Funeral Home had its beginnings in 1966, when Claude G. Clough and Bernard S. Pearson founded the Clough-Pearson Funeral Home. The name was changed to Pearson Funeral Home in 1986, following Mr. Clough's retirement. In 1994, the name changed once more to Pearson-Treadwell Funeral Home. In 2007, after being owned by a corporation for 12 years, Bernard and his daughter, Sharon Pearson Dial, bought the funeral home making it Pearson-Dial Funeral Home - Pierce Counties oldest family owned and operated funeral home.
