Name: Frances Catherine Gill Harris Dates: Birth date: September 28, 1924 Death date: July 28, 2010 Obituary: Mrs. Frances Catherine Gill Harris, 85, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 28, 2010, in Ocoee, FL. Born in Savannah, GA on September 28, 1924, Mrs. Harris had lived in Pierce County for several years before moving to Winter Garden, FL. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winter Garden. She was the daughter of the late Teab G. Gill and Nancy Smith Gill, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Delmus Harris and a grandson, Lance Dewayne Harris. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Lee & John Linden of Lake City, FL; her son and daughter-in-law, John Allen Harris & Allison Suarez, of Winter Garden, FL; a sister, Bernice Kramer, of Tybee Island, GA; a grandson, Daniel Alan Harris; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Service: Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be held Friday afternoon, July 30, 2010, at 2:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel. Cemetery: Interment will be in the Laura Chapel Cemetery. |
