Name: Mary Alice Dixon Chase Dates: Birth date: November 05, 1940 Death date: July 02, 2010 Obituary: Mrs. Mary Alice Dixon Chase, 69 of Orange Park, passed away Friday morning (July 2, 2010) at the Orange Park Medical Center.
Born on November 4, 1940 in Blackshear, GA, she had lived in Orange Park since 1979. She was a wallpaper sales representative who covered territory in North Florida and South Georgia for over 20 years and was known as “the wallpaper lady” to many of her beloved customers.
She was a daughter of the late Daniel Ephriam & Anna Belle Walker Dixon. Mrs. Chase was also preceded in death by an infant brother.
Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bob” Chase of Orange Park; a daughter and son-in-law, Holly & Jim Swan of Columbia, SC; a son and daughter-in-law, Danny Cox and Penny Benkeser of Charlotte, NC; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy Wildes of Blackshear and Joyce & Don Fowler of Austin, TX; 12 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Visitation: Visitation for Mrs. Chase will be held Tuesday from 10 until 12 o’clock at the funeral home. Service: Funeral services for Mrs. Chase will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at 12:00 o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Cemetery: Interment will be in the Blackshear Cemetery. |
