Name: William Dean Clark Dates: Birth date: January 6, 1942 Death date: July 7, 2012 Obituary: Mr. William Dean Clark, 70 of Blackshear, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at his residence.
Born in Brunswick, GA on January 6, 1942, he had lived in Florida for many years before moving to Pierce County in 2000. Mr. Clark was retired from the W. R. Grace Company and was a US Army veteran. He was a member of Smyrna Fellowship and was preceded in death by his parents, William Brantley & Exie James Clark. Mr. Clark was also preceded in death by his wife, Carla Margaret Denton, and two brothers, Harris Clark and Edward “Ed” Clark.
Survivors include a daughter, Tambra Preast of Polk City, FL; a son, William Blake Clark of Lakeland, Fl; a step-son, Michael Jackson of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Wanda Blalock of Waycross, Elaine Haire of Blackshear and Marie Dikins of Callahan, FL; a brother and sister-in-law, Dale & Jean Clark of Bristol; five grandchildren, Tabitha Preast, Lea Clark, Kathryn Jackson, Banks Jackson and Bennett Jackson and several nieces, nephews & other relatives.
