Steven Wayne Clarence Carter

Mr. Steven Wayne Clarence Carter, 41, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at his residence.

Born in Galveston, TX on December 26, 1982, he lived in Pierce County most of his life.  Mr. Carter had worked in construction as well as worked for his father at Wayne Carter Trucking.  He enjoyed being outdoors whether it was riding country roads with his daughter, fishing, or working in the yard. Mr. Carter had a big heart and dearly loved his children and spending time with them.  His family was very special to him, and he was grateful for the love and support they had given him over the years. 

Survivors include his daughter, Miss Noella Marie Carter of Blackshear; his son, Tye Clarence Carter of Orange Park, FL; his parents, Wayne & Stephanie Carter of Blackshear and Sylvia Hudson of Jacksonville, FL; his sister, Melissa Crawford of Blackshear; his half-brother, David Hudson of Swainsboro; two step-brothers, Cody Demers and Paris Griffin both of Blackshear; his fiance', Brittany Moore of Blackshear; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorialization is by cremation.
