<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 225.0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 225.0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Born in Alma, GA on March 31, 1941, she had lived in Brantley County for over 30 years.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Mrs. Davis had been a secretary at the State Lab in Waycross for many years attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints &ndash; Waycross Ward.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>She loved to cook, garden, fish and in her younger days, bowl.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>A loving mother and grandmother, Mrs. Davis helped to rear her youngest grandchild, Ashley Davis.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 225.0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">She was a daughter of the late Gus &amp; Mamie Mobley Allen.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by her husband, John Sapp; three sisters, Katie Taylor, Jesse Stewart and Ida Mae Matthews; and all three of her brothers, Wiley Allen, Earnest Allen and Leroy Allen. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;</span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 225.0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Survivors include a daughter, Tina Rutledge of Waycross; a son, Bruce Davis, girlfriend, Sheila Thomas, of Waycross; three sisters, Mamie (John) Wright of Acworth and Josephine (Robert) Cowart and Iva Lee Matthews all of Waycross; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Davis, Bruce Hardage, Elizabeth Hardage, James Bell and Cristy Rutledge; a great grandchild, Malaya Hardage and a great granddaughter soon to be born.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>There are several nieces, nephews &amp; other relatives.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 225.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Born in Patterson, GA on November 27, 1938, he had lived in Pierce County all of his life.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Mr. Strickland had worked as a truck driver for Foster Kimbrell for many years before going into law enforcement.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He started his law enforcement career as a Police Office for the Blackshear Police Department.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Mr. Strickland then went on the become a Deputy for the Pierce County Sheriff&rsquo;s Department where he was later elected to the position of Sheriff, a job he held for 20 years.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Following his retirement from the Sheriff&rsquo;s Department, Mr. Strickland continued on with service to the Pierce County by being elected to the Board of Commissioners where he served for three terms.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Mr. Strickland was working part-time with the Juvenile Justice Department before becoming ill. </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 225.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 225.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">An active man, Mr. Strickland loved to fish, coon hunt and work in his vegetable garden.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He was an avid reader, enjoyed woodworking and loved family gatherings.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church and was a son of the late James Andrew &amp; Josie Houston Strickland.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He was also preceded in death by a brother, Foye Strickland.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 225.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Born in Pierce County on June 16, 1929, he had lived in Pierce County most of his life.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He retired from Humphries Mining Company where he was a welder.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Mr. Courson had the distinction of building the door on the first manned space shuttle.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He was of the Baptist faith and loved to fish.</span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; tab-stops: 225.0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Born in Pierce County on February 1, 1915, she had lived in Pierce County all of her life.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Mrs. O&rsquo;Steen was a homemaker, was a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church and loved to fish.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>She came from a family of 12 and married into a family of 12 and was considered the community nurse while growing up.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span></span></p>
